An elegant Italian Mid-Century Modern coffee table from the 1980s, featuring a distinctive Bauhaus-inspired design that combines architectural simplicity with refined materials.
The table is defined by its beautifully proportioned circular silhouette, featuring a generous round smoked glass tabletop with a subtle translucent brown-grey tone. The tinted glass creates a sophisticated visual contrast against the reflective chrome structure, adding depth and warmth to its otherwise minimalist appearance.
The sculptural base is constructed from polished tubular chrome-plated steel, featuring clean geometric lines and a carefully balanced architectural composition. The curved chrome support frame follows the circular outline of the tabletop, while the four straight tubular legs provide stability and emphasize the table’s elegant Bauhaus aesthetic.
The interplay between the transparent smoked glass and polished tubular steel gives this piece a timeless Space Age and Bauhaus-inspired character, making it an excellent addition to Mid-Century Modern, contemporary, minimalist or modernist interiors.
A stylish and functional statement piece, ideal as a central coffee table in front of a sofa or within a sophisticated lounge setting.
