Mid-Century Mirrored Chest of Drawers by RUF International, Germany, 1970s

A striking and distinctive vintage chest of drawers by RUF International, manufactured in Germany during the 1970s. Combining dramatic black plush upholstery with elegant mirrored drawer fronts and sculptural chrome handles, this exceptional piece captures the glamorous side of mid-century modern design with a sophisticated touch of Hollywood Regency influence.

The tall, architectural silhouette is beautifully framed by its black plush exterior, creating a bold contrast with the reflective mirror-glass drawer fronts. The polished chrome handles add a refined metallic accent, while the mirrored surfaces reflect light and bring a sense of depth and elegance to any interior.

With its distinctive materials, carefully considered proportions, and original manufacturer details, this chest of drawers is a particularly eye-catching statement piece. It works beautifully in a bedroom, dressing room, walk-in wardrobe, boutique hotel, or an eclectic contemporary interior.

The piece is in excellent vintage condition, with a clean and well-maintained appearance. It retains its original manufacturer’s stamp on the back, including the model number and fabric information, adding to its authenticity and collectible appeal.
