Vintage IKEA Mila Swivel Chair by Gillis Lundgren – 1960s Scandinavian Modern Design
A beautiful example of Scandinavian Mid-Century Modern design, this vintage Mila swivel chair, designed by Gillis Lundgren for IKEA in the 1960s, combines understated elegance with a distinctive sculptural silhouette.
The chair features a gently curved backrest, a generously proportioned seat, and elegant button-tufted upholstery that creates a timeless, minimalist appearance. Upholstered in black faux leather, the chair offers a sophisticated look complemented by its polished chrome-plated star base.
The swivel base adds practical functionality, while the low-profile silhouette and soft, organic contours make this chair a versatile addition to contemporary interiors, vintage collections, and design-focused living spaces.
Whether placed in a living room, reading corner, bedroom, or stylish office, the Mila chair brings authentic vintage character and Scandinavian design heritage to any setting.
