Cassina Wink Armchair by Toshiyuki Kita – Grey & Black Fabric, Italy, 2000s
An iconic piece of Italian design, the Cassina Wink armchair by Japanese designer Toshiyuki Kita combines sculptural aesthetics, playful character and innovative functionality.
Originally designed in 1980, the Wink armchair is a celebrated example of postmodern furniture design. Its unmistakable silhouette, distinctive ear-shaped headrests and generously upholstered body give it an almost character-like appearance, making it a striking statement piece in any interior.
This example features elegant light grey fabric upholstery complemented by contrasting black headrest cushions. The sophisticated color combination highlights the chair’s sculptural form while remaining versatile enough to complement contemporary, minimalist and vintage-inspired interiors.
Innovative Design & Comfort
The Cassina Wink is much more than an iconic design object. Its integrated manual reclining mechanism allows the chair to transform from an upright armchair into a comfortable lounging position. The adjustable headrests provide additional flexibility, allowing you to personalize your seating position.
With its generous proportions and distinctive shape, the Wink is ideal for a living room, reading corner, creative studio or design-focused interior.
