A striking vintage Brutalist lounge chair from Germany, dating to circa the 1970s, featuring generous cognac-brown leather upholstery combined with a strong exposed timber frame.
The chair has a distinctive architectural character, with broad vertical wooden supports, squared rear uprights and a substantial horizontal frame surrounding the softly curved leather cushions. The contrast between the heavy geometric timber structure and the generously padded leather upholstery gives the chair a particularly sculptural and authentic Brutalist appearance.
