Mid century Italian Space Age Wall Mirror with Integrated Shelf by SALC Cantu, 1970s Italy

Vintage Italian Space Age Wall Mirror with Integrated Shelf by SALC Cantu, 1970s, Orange Plastic Round Mirror

A striking and highly distinctive Italian Space Age wall mirror, designed and manufactured by SALC Cantu, Italy, during the 1970s.

This eye-catching vintage design piece is defined by its bold, sculptural silhouette and vibrant orange colour. The organically shaped plastic frame surrounds a circular mirror, creating a beautiful contrast between its rounded form and the expressive, futuristic aesthetic characteristic of the Space Age movement.

One of its most distinctive features is the integrated projecting shelf at the bottom, seamlessly incorporated into the frame. Both decorative and functional, it provides a convenient place for small everyday essentials while enhancing the mirror’s unique architectural appearance.

The glossy orange finish adds a wonderful pop of colour, making this mirror an exceptional statement piece for an entrance hall, bedroom, bathroom or eclectic contemporary interior.

A fantastic example of 1970s Italian Space Age design, combining playful aesthetics, sculptural form and practical functionality.
