Rare Interprofil “BEO” Adjustable Chaise Lounge / Daybed by Toshiyuki Kita – 1980s

This Interprofil “BEO” adjustable chaise lounge / daybed was designed in the 1980s by renowned Japanese designer Toshiyuki Kita and manufactured by Interprofil. Known for his innovative, playful, and highly functional designs, Kita is internationally celebrated for creating furniture that combines sculptural form with exceptional comfort and technical ingenuity. His works are represented in major museum collections worldwide.
This piece stands out for its distinctive adjustable mechanism, allowing the chaise to transform smoothly between seating and lounging positions.
