The "Weissenhof Chair", also known as the MR 10, was designed in 1927 by the German-American architect Ludwig Mies van der Rohe (1886-1969). Ludwig Mies van der Rohe is considered one of the most important modernist architects. His most important projects include the multi-family houses in the Weissenhof settlement in Stuttgart, the German pavilion for the 1929 World Exhibition in Barcelona, and the Villa Tugendhat in Brno. the cantilever chair date from the 1980s . Chrome-plated tubular steel frame, seat and backrest made of thick, grey-colored leather. Immaculate condition. Leather parts with slight signs of wear, but without deep scratches and without open seams.
