Offered here is one of two original “Stuns” lounge chairs, designed in the 1970s by Jan Dranger and Johan Huldt for Innovator, Sweden. A standout piece of Space Age Scandinavian design, this chair blends bold visual appeal with functional comfort.
The chair features a lacquered black steel frame, paired with dark blue and white striped upholstery. Its design includes a supportive sling construction with loose seat and back cushions, ensuring both visual lightness and ergonomic comfort. ✦ About the Designers
Jan Dranger and Johan Huldt co-founded Innovator in 1968, a groundbreaking Swedish design studio recognized internationally for its forward-thinking furniture and lifestyle concepts. Their work was characterized by a fusion of industrial functionality and bold visual identity.
Huldt later became CEO of Svensk Form (1992–2003) and was appointed Professor of Industrial Design at HDK Valand Academy of Art and Design in Gothenburg in 2004.
