Authentic Mid Century Pagholz chair manufactured by Thur-Op in Germany during the 1990s.

This beautifully designed industrial chair combines the warmth of molded Pagholz wood with the clean lines of a tubular steel frame, creating a timeless piece that fits perfectly into Mid-Century Modern, Bauhaus, Industrial, Scandinavian, and contemporary interiors.

The seat and backrest are made from genuine Pagholz, a highly specialized laminated wood material renowned for its exceptional durability. Pagholz is produced by impregnating layers of beech wood with synthetic resin before pressing them under extreme pressure and heat. The result is an incredibly robust material that has been widely used in schools, factories, workshops, and public buildings due to its strength, longevity, and resistance to everyday wear.
