A beautiful original Siesta lounge chair and matching ottoman set, representing one of the most recognizable Scandinavian seating designs of the 20th century.

Designed by Norwegian designer Ingmar Relling in the 1960s, the Siesta is celebrated for its exceptional comfort, elegant proportions and innovative construction. The combination of the flexible suspended canvas and beautifully curved laminated wood frame creates a relaxed seating experience while maintaining a light and sculptural Scandinavian appearance.

The matching ottoman completes the set perfectly, providing a comfortable place to rest your feet and creating an elegant lounge arrangement.

The Siesta became internationally recognized and was even used to furnish the White House during the administration of President Jimmy Carter, adding an interesting piece of design history to this iconic Norwegian design.

Very good vintage condition.

The brown genuine leather is in very good condition, with some natural signs of age and use that are consistent with the chair’s vintage character.

The light-colored wooden frame is in excellent condition and retains its beautiful natural appearance.

The chair and ottoman are structurally sound, comfortable and fully functional.
