A striking 1980s German lounge seating set, consisting of one single lounge chair and one matching two-seater sofa, designed in a refined Bauhaus-inspired aesthetic and attributed to Thonet, Germany.

The set combines substantial black upholstered cushions with a clean, architectural chrome-plated metal frame. The strong horizontal and vertical lines of the frame create a distinctive geometric silhouette, while the generous proportions and deep seating provide excellent comfort.

The black leatherette upholstery has a smooth, understated appearance that contrasts beautifully with the polished metal structure. The design is deliberately minimal, allowing the construction, proportions and materials to define the character of the furniture.

The individual chair and sofa can be used together as a coordinated lounge set or separately in residential, office, reception or hospitality interiors.
