An icon of Italian design, the Gaudi chair was designed by the legendary Vico Magistretti for Artemide in the 1970s. With its flowing lines, sculptural form, and durable fiberglass construction, this chair is a perfect example of the Space Age and Italian modernist design movements of the era.

Made in dark brown plastic/fiberglass, the chair is lightweight yet sturdy, with a smooth curved silhouette that remains striking from every angle. Its name pays homage to architect Antoni Gaudí, whose organic and fluid forms inspired the chair’s aesthetic.

This piece was notably exhibited in the 1972 “Italy: The New Domestic Landscape” show at MoMA New York, cementing its place in design history. A true collector’s item.
