Mid century metal and brass umbrella stand, Germany, 1960s

This original vintage Bauhaus style umbrella stand was produced in the 1960e in Germany.

The brass colored top elements is made of aluminium, the heavy metal base element is made of cast iron.

The middle upright elements of the umbrella strand do have a surface coating. Straigh forward and minimalistic design of the Bauhaus design era.
