A striking vintage Mid-Century Modern rocking armchair from Germany, dating to the 1980s. Combining sculptural design, rich red velvet upholstery and an elegant architectural frame, this chair is a distinctive statement piece for contemporary and vintage interiors.

The chair features an exceptionally beautiful, organically shaped bucket seat with a generously curved backrest and integrated armrests. Its flowing silhouette creates a welcoming, enveloping seating experience while giving the chair its unmistakable sculptural character.

The entire seat and backrest are upholstered in luxurious, high-quality red velvet fabric. The deep, rich colour adds warmth, texture and a sophisticated touch to any interior.

The seat is supported by an intricate black metal wire-frame base, inspired by the iconic RAR rocking chair construction. The geometric arrangement of the metal rods creates an interesting contrast with the soft, rounded upholstery.
