Mid-Century Rattan Basket Chair by Gian Franco Legler, 1950s, set of 2

A beautiful midcentury chair covered with rattan.

The chair was designed by the Italian-Swiss designer Gian Franco Legler for the Italian restaurant ''The Basket'' in 1951.

The design then received the 'Good Design Award' in 1953 from the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York.

The chair is made of natural rattan and a frame with black powder coating. It is a timeless piece that can be combined with different interiors.

Both of the chairs are in great vintage condition
