Mid Century Space Age Emsa Tulip Stools – Set of 2 – Olive Green & White – West Germany 1970s
This vintage set of two EMSA tulip stools from West Germany, dating from the 1970s, is a fantastic example of iconic Space Age design.
Featuring the characteristic sculptural tulip-shaped pedestal bases and rounded mushroom-like tops, these stools have a wonderfully futuristic 1970s appearance. The set combines two beautiful colour combinations: olive green and white/cream, creating a striking yet elegant retro contrast.
The stools are made entirely from glossy molded plastic and feature removable upper sections. The tops can be swapped between the two stools, allowing you to create different colour combinations and change the look of the set. The removable tops also make the pieces particularly versatile, as they can be used as stools, side tables, bedside tables or decorative stands.
