Created in connection with the Montreal Olympic era of 1976, the Lotus Chair represents the bold futuristic aesthetic of the period. Its sculptural molded seat, upholstered back and seat, and elegant chrome-plated metal frame create a distinctive combination of comfort and Space Age design.

The chair is upholstered in an attractive mustard-yellow fabric, beautifully complementing the chrome structure and giving the piece a strong 1970s character.

The Lotus design is also stackable, making it both visually striking and practical. It works beautifully as a dining chair, lounge chair, desk chair, reception chair, or statement accent piece.

Condition

Good vintage condition.

The chrome frame remains in very good condition with only minor original fine scratches consistent with age and use. The upholstery shows normal signs of vintage wear. Overall, the chair presents beautifully and remains very comfortable.
