A beautiful and rare Art Deco standing ashtray from the 1930s–1940s, manufactured by the Belgian company Demeyere.
This exceptional piece is a striking example of Streamline Moderne Art Deco, combining polished chrome, geometric forms and elegant curved details. The design has a distinctly sculptural character, with a stepped circular chrome base supporting a slender central column and a beautifully proportioned round ashtray.
The upper ashtray features a black removable insert with integrated cigarette rests, surrounded by a polished chrome rim. Two elegant curved chrome elements extend from the sides, one incorporating a dedicated cigarette holder/rest, adding both functionality and visual interest.
