A rare and highly distinctive Italian Space Age designer floor lamp from the 1980s, featuring a sculptural combination of polished chrome, marble and geometric architectural forms.
This impressive floor lamp is designed as a tall, vertical sculptural composition. The central curved chrome-plated metal cylinder houses four E14 light sockets, arranged vertically and partially concealed by the reflective chrome body. When illuminated, the light creates a beautiful warm glow through the openings between the chrome elements, emphasizing the futuristic character of the design.
The chrome body is framed by a black architectural rear panel, creating a strong contrast with the highly reflective metal. Small polished chrome spherical details and fittings add another layer of Space Age character and give the lamp its distinctive Sputnik-inspired appearance.
