Rare Mid-Century Le Corbusier LC3 Armchair by Cassina, Model 0275 — Purple Leather & Chrome, 1960s

A true icon of modernist design — this rare and striking LC3 lounge armchair, model 0275, designed by the legendary Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret, and Charlotte Perriand. Originally introduced in 1928, the LC3 series became a symbol of modern luxury and timeless architectural elegance.

This particular piece was produced by Cassina in the 1960s, following their exclusive licensing of the LC collection starting in 1965. The armchair is crafted from high-quality chrome steel and upholstered in authentic purple leather — a rarely found color that makes this large model a true collector’s piece.

The chair is signed with model number 0275 and still retains the original Cassina label underneath, ensuring authenticity. It is in good to very good vintage condition with a beautifully aged patina, adding character without compromising comfort.
