Originally designed in 1952, the celebrated Bertoia Wire Chair remains one of the most important and recognizable achievements of mid-century modern design. Constructed from sculptural welded steel wire, these chairs combine industrial elegance with exceptional comfort and timeless architectural presence.
This rare vintage set features the classic black wire base with contrasting white wire seats, beautifully highlighting the geometric craftsmanship and artisanal production methods used during the period. Each wire was individually shaped and welded, showcasing the outstanding quality of early Knoll production.
Both chairs still retain their original Knoll International labels underneath, confirming authenticity.
