A stunning set of two Palma lounge chairs, designed by Werner Langenfeld and produced by ESA Møbelværk in Denmark during the 1980s.

These beautifully sculptural lounge chairs combine classic Danish modern design with exceptional comfort. Their generous proportions, softly curved silhouette, and distinctive high back create an inviting and elegant shape, while the floating seat and back cushions give the chairs a light yet substantial appearance.

The chairs are upholstered in beautiful black leather, complemented by their striking chrome-plated star-shaped swivel bases. The swivel mechanism allows the chairs to rotate freely, adding both functionality and a sophisticated contemporary touch to their classic Scandinavian design.

Condition

Very good vintage condition.

The chairs are beautifully preserved with the original black leather upholstery showing only minor signs of age and use consistent with their vintage character. The leather retains its rich appearance and attractive natural patina.

The chrome-plated swivel bases are also in very good vintage condition and complement the chairs beautifully.
