Exceptional Mid-Century Space Age dining set consisting of a set of 4 rare 4875 chairs designed by Carlo Bartoli for Kartell and a matching “Stadio” dining table Model 100 designed by Vico Magistretti for Artemide, both made in Italy during the 1970s.

The Chairs – Model 4875 by Carlo Bartoli for Kartell (1972)
The 4875 chair was the world’s first single polypropylene seat produced by injection molding, marking a major milestone in furniture design. It features a single molded seat and backrest unit with four screw-on legs, offering both comfort and durability.
The design was nominated for the Compasso D’Oro in 1979 and is now part of the permanent collections of the Centre Pompidou (Paris) and the Kartell Museum (Milan).
These four chairs are in good vintage condition with light discoloration and some age-related wear. Suitable for indoor or outdoor use.
