The body of the chest was made of pressboard while the surface was laminated with yellow plastic. The 3 drawers show slightly curved inlets to open the drawers. Plastic surfaced furnitures were popular in the 1970s, furniture makers around the world loved to create brightly colored furniture pieces. Small furniture pieces like this chest of drawers does not come around often.
