Original Vitra Panton Junior chair designed by Verner Panton.
A wonderful example of iconic Space Age furniture design, the Panton Junior is the child-sized version of Verner Panton’s legendary Panton Chair. Conceived from the same sculptural one-piece form, the Junior retains the characteristic flowing silhouette and cantilevered construction of the original while being approximately 25% smaller, making it especially suitable for children. Vitra identifies the design as Verner Panton, 1959/2006, with the Panton Junior introduced by Vitra in 2006 according to the original design concept.
This example is finished in classic black, giving the chair a particularly elegant and architectural appearance. The smooth, continuous form creates a striking silhouette from every angle, while the slightly flexible polypropylene construction provides the characteristic comfort of the Panton Chair family.
The chair is stamped/marked with Vitra and Verner Panton, confirming its Vitra origin.
