The Bookworm 7 shelf was designed by Ron Arad for the Kartell brand. It is rightly called the most revolutionary bookshelf of all time. The name means bookworm in German. The model delights every book lover with its innovative design and versatility. The bookcase is available in different sizes.
The Bookworm 7 shelf can be rolled up like a snail shell or mounted on the wall in waves. The shelf owes this extraordinary flexibility to an innovative process: it is recommended to mount the arches on the wall in a curved shape. This allows material stresses to be avoided. The designer made perfect use of the possibilities of extrusion technology to create the eye-catching piece of furniture. Depending on the space available, it adapts to the local conditions. It is available in different colors. The Bookworm 7 shelf consists of thermoplastic, colored PVC. The scope of delivery includes eleven bookends. Each of them can be loaded with about 10 kg.
