Exceptional XXL Mid-Century Nieren / Kidney Wall Mirror from Germany, dating from the 1960s.
A beautiful and unusually large kidney-shaped wall mirror with an elegant asymmetric, tapered silhouette and a delicate brass-coloured metal frame. The distinctive decorative crown at the top gives the mirror a charming 1960s Rockabilly / Hollywood Regency character and makes it a particularly striking statement piece.
The combination of the organic kidney shape, slim metal frame and decorative crown is a wonderful example of the playful design language of the Mid-Century era.
The mirror is Made in Germany and is stamped on the back.
